The
Trust Pledge

You build one profile. Opportunities come to you. You get paid when you say yes. That is the deal — and these are the rules we follow to keep it honest.

THIRTEEN COMMITMENTS · PUBLIC AND BINDING
01

We will never share your contact information without your explicit acceptance.

When someone wants to connect with you, we show you who they are and why before anything happens. Your email, phone number, and personal details stay locked until you say yes to a specific request from a specific person. No bulk sharing, no background data sales, no "opt-out" tricks where silence equals consent. You accept each connection individually, or it does not happen. If we violate this through our own action or negligence, we will publicly admit it on our transparency page and refund affected users their subscription payments from the preceding 12 months. This pledge covers what we control — our code, our infrastructure, our decisions. It does not cover unauthorized breaches by third parties or events outside our reasonable control.

02

We will never invent words or fabricate data about you.

Every word on your profile is a word you provided. Every skill, credential, and achievement listed is something you told us about. We do not auto-generate endorsements, inflate qualifications, or produce "AI-enhanced" summaries that put claims in your mouth. If you did not say it, it does not appear. When AI systems learn about you through StatusForge, they learn the truth — not a hallucination dressed up as a profile.

03

We will never make automated decisions about your life.

StatusForge routes connection requests. It does not score people for hiring, lending, insurance, healthcare, or any consequential decision. Our terms prohibit partners from using our platform for automated high-risk decisions. We monitor compliance and revoke access for violations. Your profile exists so the right opportunities can find you and you can decide what to do with them — not so a machine can decide for you. We enforce this through contractual terms and access revocation. Our responsibility is to set the rules, enforce them when we discover violations, and cut off anyone who breaks them.

04

We will honor deletion requests within 15 business days and notify connected parties.

When you delete your profile, we delete it from our database and send a deletion notification to every party you have connected with, instructing them to purge their cached copies of your information. Real removal from our systems, not a hidden flag. We also offer a Do Not Contact opt-out that immediately stops any future connection requests from reaching you. Both are free, fast, and require no account login to invoke. We cannot guarantee that every connected party will comply with our deletion notification — but we can guarantee that we will send it, track it, and revoke access from anyone that fails to honor it.

05

The free tier is genuinely free, forever.

The free tier includes a fully published profile, accurate representation in AI systems, AI-powered conversations that deepen your profile, and micro-royalties when your data is queried. It is not a trial. It is not a teaser. AI seeing you accurately is the baseline, not a premium feature. Paid tiers unlock deeper profile questions, connection requests, and higher earnings — but the core promise works for everyone. We commit to keeping the free tier free for as long as StatusForge exists. If we ever cannot afford to do this, we will shut down before we charge for it.

06

We will pay you for every connection you accept.

When a business or recruiter sends you a connection request and you accept it, we pay you — starting at $3, with higher payouts for deeper, more complete profiles. Not a credit. Not a coupon. Real money in your StatusForge account that you can withdraw. The person reaching out pays for the privilege of your attention, and a meaningful share goes to you. Payout amounts may increase as the platform grows, but they will never decrease below $3 for an accepted connection. Your attention has value. We built the business model around that fact.

07

We will publish a monthly public transparency report.

Every month, we publish exactly how many profiles exist, how many connection requests were sent, how many were accepted, how many were declined, how many deletions we processed, and how much we paid out to users. We also publish any incidents that occurred. If something goes wrong, you will read about it on our transparency page before we are forced to talk about it elsewhere.

08

We will write our terms in plain English.

Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are written so a 16-year-old can read them. No legalese hiding the important parts. No fine print that contradicts the marketing. If something is unclear, email us and we will explain it — and update the terms to be clearer for everyone.

09

We will not lobby against laws that protect people.

We support strong AI regulation, strong privacy law, and strong consumer protection. We will not spend a dollar of company money fighting laws designed to keep people safe from automated systems. If a law passes that requires us to be more transparent or more careful, we will comply enthusiastically. We built StatusForge to be ahead of those laws, not to evade them.

10

These principles survive any sale of the company.

If StatusForge is ever acquired, the buyer must publicly affirm every commitment on this page and operate by it. The founder retains a permanent profit interest tied to the company's continued adherence to these principles. If the principles are abandoned, the founder's share converts to a controlling stake. This is in our operating agreement. It is not just a promise.

11

If we fail any of these commitments, we will publicly admit it within 7 days.

Mistakes will happen. People are running this. When we get something wrong, we will say so on the transparency page within 7 days, explain what happened, explain what we are doing to fix it, and explain how we will prevent it from happening again. We will not bury bad news. We will not blame users. We will not pretend everything is fine. Honesty is the price of building something worth trusting.

12

Connection requests always include who is asking and why.

Every connection request that reaches you includes the requester's verified identity and their stated reason for wanting to connect. No anonymous approaches. No vague "someone is interested in your profile" messages designed to make you click. You see who they are, what company they represent, and what they want — before you decide anything. If a requester will not identify themselves, we will not deliver their request.

13

Weekly SMS is opt-in only. STOP always works immediately.

We will never send you text messages unless you explicitly ask for them. If you opt in to weekly opportunity summaries via SMS, you can reply STOP at any time and messages will cease immediately — not "within 5 business days," not "after we process your request." Immediately. We will never make SMS opt-in a condition of using the platform, and we will never bury the opt-out. Your phone is yours.

These thirteen commitments are not aspirational. They are operational requirements that govern every decision StatusForge makes — from how we route connections to how we handle your data to who we accept as partners.

These pledges cover what StatusForge controls: our code, our infrastructure, our decisions, and our relationships with partners. They do not extend to unauthorized actions by third parties, security incidents caused by actors outside our systems, or events beyond our reasonable control. We will always be generous with users who are affected by our mistakes. We will not allow our generosity to be weaponized by bad actors seeking to harm the business or exploit the pledge.

If you ever see us violating any of them, email us at[email protected]and we will respond publicly within 72 hours.
